Frequently asked questions

How will I know what's happening during my child's day?

You're always welcome to visit or call. At pick-up you'll get a Daily Activity Report covering naps, meals, potty training and the fun stuff your child did, plus any upcoming events or things we need from home.

May I visit my child during the day?

Absolutely! Join your child at lunchtime, playtime, or anytime.

How flexible are your schedules?

Choose what works for your family, from two to five days a week. Most children arrive by 10:00 am, or at a later time you arrange with us.

What should I expect in the first few days?

Every child reacts differently. We ask that a parent spend a little extra time at drop-off for the first couple of days so your child can settle in at their own pace. Call as often as you like.

How will I know my child is safe while I am at work?

We use a controlled-access entry system and closed-circuit cameras. Visitors show ID and sign our Visitor Log, and anyone picking up a child must be authorized by the parents and show ID.

Will my child be ready for elementary school?

Yes. Our teachers plan lessons around monthly themes and give individual attention in small groups. Asking questions, discovering cause and effect, playing fair and making friends are all building blocks for school.

Do children go outside every day?

Weather permitting, yes! Our playground is an extension of the classroom, with nature walks, picnics and lots of running, jumping and climbing.

Parent referral program

Earn up to $285 for referring a family

"There is no better compliment to our programs and services than when our families refer new friends to our school."

  1. Recommend us. Tell a family member, friend or colleague about Children's Garden.
  2. They enroll. Once their child has been enrolled for at least three months, you earn your referral fee.
  3. You get paid. Choose a one-time cash payment or a credit toward your own child's tuition. The amount is based on the referred child's weekly tuition.
